A Middle Eastern Fable

A wealthy Lebanese migrant went back to his old village, touring his childhood playground area. He observed a fisherman on the riverbank with his fishing rod bending with a strong pull on the line, aware of the time and motion formula, drive and ambition he ran towards him urging him to pull out the fish quickly and this is their dialogue:
Migrant: “Do you know there is a fish hooked on your line?”
Fisherman: “Yes, I do know,”
Migrant: ‘Why don’t you hurry and pull it?”
Fisherman: I’m enjoying a glass of Arak with a plate of kibby and tabbouli that my good wife prepared for me.”
Migrant: “If you pill it now, you will catch another one sooner!”
Fisherman: “I only need a kilo to feed my family, and I always manage to achieve that,”
Migrant: “Well instead of one kilo, you’ll end up with two,”
Fisherman: ‘What do I do with the other kilo?”
Migrant: “Sell it to your neighbor”
Fisherman: ‘Why do have to sell it?”
Migrant: “So you could buy another rod.”
Fisherman: “Why do I need another rod?”
Migrant: “So you could catch more fish and sell them to the entire village.”
Fisherman: “Then what?”
Migrant: “In the end of summer, you would have made enough money to buy a boat.”
Fisherman: “Then what do I do?”
Migrant: “Keep fishing until you have a fleet of boats., supplying the whole Lebanese coast with sea food.”
Fisherman: “Then what do I do?”
Migrant: “You would have two hundred people working for you.”
Fisherman: “If they are doing all the work, what do I do with my time?”
Migrant: “Then you can drink Arak with tabbouli and kibby all day.”
Fisherman: “Isn’t that what I’m doing now?”
